Biography

The artist, surrounded by his work.

Born in Palma de Mallorca. He begins his painting studies with J.M. Ferrer.

Later he continues studying at the School of Arts and Crafts of Palma de Mallorca, directed by T. Horrach.

From 1.982 to 1.985 he works with the painter J.M. Munar. That same year he meets Joaquín Torrens Lladó, and together with him he broadens his knowledge of drawing and painting (Escola Lliure del Mediterrani).

After the passing of the brilliant painter Xim Torrens, he becomes friends with the artist Daniel Codorniu, with whom he maintains a close artistic relationship.

On moving to Valldemossa for his exhibition at the Cartuja, he meets the Italian painter Claudio Toccigliani. With him he discovers new frontiers which he applies to his work.

Recently he has been in contact with the artist Pascual de Cabo at his studio in Alaró; from the knowledge of these painters he has drawn a compendium that he has applied to his works in an intelligent and real way, giving them his own approach, yet very Majorcan.

In truth, when we look at his landscapes we are deeply immersed in the Majorcan landscape, our present landscape, the one of a lifetime.
